Qucik Silver Metalic- 2004 GTO - M6
04 C5 & 04 Gto
Does anybody know if the C5 and 04 GTO LS1's are the same configuration?
To help clarify the question - if I find find parts on a corvette web site, is it safe to assume they'll fit my motor, 04 gto? For instance, does the 170 thermostat for C5 LS1 fit the 04 gto or is the housing configured a touch differently to prevent you from interchanging parts.
If I go FAST LSX Polymer LS1-LS6 Intake Manifold will all my pieces and parts match up do to thread diameters and counts when going to the new?
I'm more about plug and play - no patience for having to tweak sorry to say.
Any input would be appreciated, I'm new at this and don't want to break it or have to a new black box...

Navy Blue Metallic- `98 Formula M6 HdTp
The engines are identical. The only differences are intake and exhaust plumbing due to the packaging constraints for different chassis.

98 Formula- 06 duramax
The TB's are probably different also. I've never seen an 04 c-5 TB but I know the 98's had no cable and the gto's do.
