    00 t/a mass air flow replacement

    anyone have advice on what mass air flow sensor replacement brand name is a good buy? mine needs replacing, and not sure which brand name to get?

    AC Delco or Delphi are two good brands as far as stock replacements go. No need to upgrade to a larger, more expensive aftermarket MAF if you're stock or bolt-ons only.

    I would just get a SD tune and get rid if it. It comes out cheaper and it is more reliable.

    what makes you think yours is bad? Have you tried cleaning it? The stock MAF actually flows really well. It's about the last think on the intake side you need to worry about upgrading. Larger aftermarket units will usually need to be tuned for.....not always but more times than not. I would look for a used stock replacement if yours is bad and save yourself a few bucks.

    You can also test it to ensure it's getting the correct voltage reading.

    If there is a misfire, have you checked your spark plug wires?
