    00 camaro starter.

    Where can I buy a starter for my ss?
    I ask on autozone but price is to high.
    00 ss blk m6 " STOCK" strano springs, slp bilstein shocks, adj LCA, adj panhard bar, relocation brackets, 2 point SFCs welded,OEM zo6 rims black, magnaflow exhaust, CME exhaust,E/cutout, slp grille, custom front plate mount, HIDs, whistler mod, side moldings delete, slp air lid, ported and polished TB, strut tower brace, 3.73s gears, and some other parts to list!
    next to come,4.10s,ls7 clutch, ms3 or 228r cam, ported 243s, ls6 intake, ls6 oil pump. ls2 timing chain, longtube headers no cats, with a tune..

    Anyone had experience with Aftermarket starters from eBay?
    Or they all aftermarket no matter where u buy em?

    I assume anything not a Delco is properly termed "aftermarket" (assuming our cars are originally equipped with Delco starters).

    Shop around and see what you can find. I have never bought from them, but I hear "Rockauto.com" mentioned from time to time on here. If you buy one from a parts store it should come with at least a 90 day warranty. Chances are that if it doesn't crap out in that time frame you are good to go.

    I bought an aftermarket one. I have not put it on yet
    But now my car starts up fine.
    now I'm confused.

    Could be a good idea. But I'm gonna wait few days. Cuz it did the something 2 weeks ago n then it started doin it again.

    I thought bout that. Cuz every time I start it up. I hear a noise on the drivers side.
    Sounds like it hits something.
    Now that it's starts up with no problems. I dnt hear that. Idk what it is

    you try gmpartsdirect yet?

    i know proform makes a high TQ starters for the ls1 IF you want to look into them

    price was alot better any other parts store..

    The starter seems like something EVERYONE knows how to make

    I've never had any issues with aftermarket starters.

    Like said above, RockAuto is a good cheap place. Also Amazon has some amazing prices also!
