`need help removing Dash.

I have a 99 TA and I have a dash thats cracked to pieces.I want to try and repair it or just replace it.But to do either one I need to know how to remove it. I am talking about the part of the dash that is under the glass and made of hard plastic.Can anyone tell how to remove it. I found one in a book I have, priced at $169.00 Is this a good price? Also do anyone make a cover for this dash, I would rather have the dash cover, that way I want have to worry about it cracking again But frist I need to get it out.
