that sounds insane !!! 200 dollars??? Stay away from Stealerships unless is your last options for parts. Buy yourself a red top Optima battery and put it in. You don't need to reset the PCM and if you do there is a post in the site on how to do it, is free and simple to do.

lol ya one of my friends's parents took their 04 cts to the dealership because of a dead battery... they got charged $350 for a new battery and "resetting the computer"... the only reason they went there was because they dont know much about vehicles and they told me that their car took a "special battery" that didnt have top posts, but had these crazy lookin screw in deals that are on the back of the battery LOL... when i showed them my battery in my car that has the side posts, they pretty well knew they were gettin screwed... and i also told them that they dont have to reprogram any computer because im sure it has factory defaults, and all they are doin is messin with the anti theft, which wouldnt be hard at all to fix
