how many miles and hard launches have you had on those 3.90's? And how do you like them over all? Nice numbers by the way.

I should have a good 25,000 miles on them. Since the 3.90's are in a 10bolt, the word "launch" has to be used lightly. I have many high 1.8 60's and many more low 1.9's. Along with dozens of passes from 126-127mph (nitrous assisted). I leave the line slipping the clutch a touch at 1500rpm. With that technique leaving the line I usually get warned to slow down at the track since the car has no roll bar in it.

The heads are bone stock with stock valves, springs are upgraded to comp 918's.

I am happy with the numbers, the FJO controller keeps the torque down which helps out a ton on the street & track since I run Nitto DR's

Looks like I will be adding some heads to the above combo within the next couple of months. I think I have my mind set on some Stage 2 LS6 style heads.... I will leave them at the stock 64cc setting. So that will bump my CR up to 10.5 to 1.... nitrous likes compression

Once I have the results from that I will be sure and update this post or start another.

Thanks for all the kind words!

I just ordered the Patriot Stage 2 LS6 heads 59cc. Should get them in a couple of weeks. Me and a buddy will install them and then its off to the dyno for a tune-up, so just a few more weeks for the finished product.

Well finally got the heads and got ready to put them on and low and behold when I went to swap some fresh LS7 lifters in place I realized that my stock lifters where pitted and coming apart. After looking down into the lifter hole I noticed that the cam looked even worse. So I called the performance shop I use (FMS) and they said "you better put a new cam in along with those new lifters!" So, I ordered a F14 HL on a 114lsa after they mocked it up to make sure the clearences were acceptable. All that took about 3 weeks waiting on parts ect.... So I just got the car tuned about 2 weeks ago. Here is a link to the dyno sheet. Oh, this is a motor only sheet cause I am waiting some new N20 stuff to hit the market then we will get some N20 numbers.

picked up 46rwhp & 20rwtq and it pulls to 6600rpm

The combo is working well. Under normal driving it almost feels the same as the smaller TR224 cam only setup I had. And since I am running the cam on a 114lsa I could actually mislead alot of people by telling them its a mild cam ect.. 226/226 or 228/228. In other words it lopes just a bit but the idle is set at 900-950 and really smooths it out. Hell I could have told most of my buddies that I keep the 224/224 and just added the heads and they would have never known

The street manners are great. But that is in the hands of the tuner!! MPG has not been affected under normal driving.

What are the specs on that F14 cam? Nice numbers by the way. Any plans on running your new setup with the nitrous or do you think that'll be too much for your bottom end?

The specs on the F14 are 232/234 .647/.612 114lsa. Yes I do plan on running nitrous on this setup too. I run the FJO mini controller so I progressively bring on the N20 to make it a easier transition for the stock bottom end. I am toying with the idea of 2 stages to break up the shot due to the raised compression on the stock bottom end also. I will run the same 150 shot so maybe 50shot in 1st then bring on 100 at higher rpm's in 2nd.
