    factory freak bolt on dyno!

    car dynoed : 2001 camaro z28 m6 (3.42 rear)
    miles 106,xxx

    power mods:

    all bolt-ons

    Exhaust:
    hookers LTs
    ORY - no cats!
    flowmaster muffler
    flowtech cutout (open)

    Intake
    ported/polished throttle body
    bumpstop mod
    Fernco smooth bellow
    SLP Lid
    SLP MAF

    Engine:
    SLP Underdrive Pulley

    Its a full bolt-on car.

First off thanks to Tony and the guys at OUTLAW for getting my car on their mustang dyno.

Now as far as the dyno numbers.

    357 rwtq (not weather corrected)
    352 rwhp (not weather corrected)

    351 rwtq (weather corrected)
    346 rwhp (weather corrected)

Since mustang dynos are more accurate then dynojets and show lower numbers, everyone expected my car to be at most 330 for a bolt-on f-body, which is the average for bolt-on fbods on a mustang dyno

but nope! I am very pleased with these numbers as they are extremely strong.

Last winter I dynoed the same numbers on a dynojet dyno, with a couple of less bolt-ons (underdrive pulley, bumpstop, ported throttlebody, etc). So yeah i was expecting lower numbers on the mustang dyno.

On a dyno jet my car is at 376rwhp.

Again both dyno reflect that my car is about 20+rwhp over the norm for bolt-on f-bodys!

a mustang dyno reads/measures differently. Its a more real world application, more accurate.

for the situation I posted above, dynojets usually read about 20 hp more.

which is why people like dyno jet numbers, looks like their car is making more hp then it really is.

yes but all bolton mod f-bods usually dyno around 330 on a mustang dyno and 350 on a dyno jet with the exact same mods I have..

my numbers are 27hp higher! which makes me feel lucky for getting a strong engine

the PAU is the resistance given to your car...

It should be listed on your dyno sheet!

hmm that is still good numbers for flywheel.

flywheel to ground can be up to an 18% difference. Higher percentage for A4

My numbers where RWHP which equates to about 420 at the crank.
