Yeah once I get a new clutch. LS6 clutch + 400whp = stuck clutch pedal at WOT lol

Personally, I would tell you to look elsewhere unless its a great deal. Monster and Textrilla are very nice clutches with awesome support.

That said, I have a Spec 3 in my TA. It has held up wonderful under some pretty extreme conditions. That clutch saw at least 65 1/4 passe's last year and still holds/slips good. No chatter, and overall I'm happy with the clutch. I always add my review on my Spec when recommending a different brand, to be fair.

Its just that Spec has so many cases of chatter that never resides, and overall general problems with the longevity of them. Granted they probably have more clutches out on the market, leading to more complaints per clutch dealer. Hardly ever hear any problems with Monster or Textrilla and they have proven themselves as very strong units.

Would have to agree with Hi-Po on the clutch choices. I have a Spec 3+ and I experience chatter from it during take off. It is very mild, but still annoying at times.

I would get a Monster but don't want a pucked clutch just yet. I've looked at Textralia but they are damn expensive lol.

I am checking out Tick Performance for a Spec Stage 2+ right now.

As far as chatter goes, when I had my SRT-4 my ACT street clutch would chatter all the time and sounded like a tiny helicopter. In the beginning it would annoy me but I got used to it within a week or so.

I've pretty much have gotten used to mine and it doesn't do it 100% of the time. It is just on take offs and if I give it just the right amount of gas while feathering out the clutch I can sometimes avoid it...just looks stupid when the guy next to you is admiring your car and then the f'in thing shakes all over the place

Look into www.KYSPEED.com for your clutch parts. They are a sponsor of this site. Shoot him a PM below.

ls7 clutch kit is quite popular. wouldnt that hold up to your power without problems?

It would up until I got a rear. After I get a rear I might be adding a power adder. I figure do the clutch once and do it right (at least for a 15K+ miles lol)
