83 Z28 new project- 98 Formula WS7-sold:(
This can't be right, can it?
I finally got my car dynoed last week. I have most of the bolt ons and a tune and put down 307rwhp and 327tq. Does that seem right? My air/fuel was perfect, but I did get some detonation towards the end of the run, at about 5500 rpm. Would my 3400 stall affect these numbers? He hit the button at 4500 rpm, so I dont think that would matter. I have LT's, ORY, magnaflow, LS6 inake, 80mm TB, ported MAF, free mods, TR55IX, lid, bellows, plus a couple of others that I am forgetting.
TSP Torquer V2 cam, ported heads, fast 90/90 combo, LT's, 3400 stall, magnaflow CB, most other bolt ons, full suspension, t-top and HID conversion

something is wrong here...either the dyno was wrong or your car is broken.

There were a few others that were disappointed also. One guy had a 00 ss, before he went there, he did 325rwhp, then did LTs and a tune and gained 5 rwhp, besides all the bolt ons. My car has all the power in the world it seems.

Well the stall is going to rob you of some of your HP and TQ numbers on the dyno. With pretty much the same mods with a tune I made 335hp and 340tq with stock converter on a dynojet dyno. Dyno's make a difference too. Was is a Mustang dyno or dynojet or other?

In third, but you know whats funny, my bro in law has a 95 z28 that is not running the best, but he decided what the hell, i'll get it dynoed, he did 151rwhp and 195tq. needless to say, he was pissed. There were others that were disappointed also. I am going to another place sometime in the next two weeks to get it done again.

Wow, I made 295whp and 306wtq on my stock Formula on a Dyno Dynamics which everyone says reads low by 10%- 15%.
