    Any guesses for Dyno numbers?

Thought we would see what everyone on the net predicts before we hit the dyno on the 2cd. It is a mustang dyno, and last year read 280rwhp/365tq with a stock LS1 (out of a 2002 WS6) and T56 through an 8.5inch rear. Only spun up to 5200rpm however, trans and rear were new.

    Build:
    Stock bottom end
    LS6 intake/TB
    Patriot Stage II 243's ported, 59cc, 2.055, 1.6
    Vengeance VRX3, 226/228 .585/.588
    LS2 Chain
    LS7 lifters, LS2 cups
    S&P mid length headers
Dual stainless 2.5 with X and balance tube (Magnaflow)

We are shooting for 400rwhp. This dyno is known for slightly lower numbers, but it is the one our baseline was run on, and would rather see the gains than the absolute numbers. Had the first tuning session on Monday, and the tuner was pretty happy with everything so far.

    Any guesses, thoughts?

Well, humbling day for a lot of us. Out of 15 cars, only 1 exceeded anyones expectations. My youngest daughters 3.4L 94 Camaro (which she built) put down 142hp and 200ft/lb when we all figured on 100hp! Remember it is a loading Mustang Dyno, so numbers are low anyway, but we did not get what we were looking for on the 67 (LS1/T56) and only got 350/335. Somehow we actually lost torque, so we have some work to do..... On a side note, 2 other Head/Cam LS1's (a 2001 and an 04 GTO) both put down almost EXACTLY the same numbers. The 2001 is a Livernois setup and went 361/321, and the GTO is a heavily modified car and did 352/334. We also had two LT1's in the 220/260 range. The big engine of the day was a 71 with a 6-71 on a 496, but electrical issues with his safety cuttof switch plagued him and he only hit 578/526 before shutting it down completely at 5200. It was a mean, but fun day...
