a 1.6 is a fair 60ft time. Hard to do with spinning street tires though. Gotta get a good stick out of the hole (and keep your mind out of the gutter)

I don't know, not very high or at all. I tried 3000 rpm once and I just fishtailed all down the track it seemed.

Well that rules that out, you already figured out that high stalls on a stock F-body don't typically work out so well. I have heard that 12-1500 isn't a bad start, and at least gives you something off the line. Starting from idle pretty much assures a mediocre 60ft, and leaves tenths to be had in the 1/4 itself.

2.0 60' here on street tires. but still pulled out a 12.7 @ 110.however i spun all the way to third. so with a good 60' and being able to keep it planted i should get a 12.5 or so. then with a convertor and gears im looking at 11's and low 11's on spray if i lucky

I think z28 thunder is at mid 11's with similar mods as you and DR's(and a 12 bolt)? I think with spray, depending on how much you use, and DR's, you could hit high 10's....if you don't explode your rear first. I don't think I'm too far off base with that prediction, although he may have a more aggressive cam setup. Maybe some suspension mods if you haven't already done them, that helps more than most people think.

yeah stock suspension here with the exception of LCA's and relocation brackets. i really need a torque arm but i have to get a convertor and tires first

That's what ended up exploding Z28's stock 10-bolt. He put a torque arm on, killed it on the first pass I think.

Welcome to my world then, maybe. I got two boys, so money for the car is slim to none unless it's a necessity. Once I get my land surveyor's license, that will all change. But I'm still another year away from taking my state exam...

Yup first pass with the new torque arm and the 10-bolt went bye bye. Car had never hooked that good ever. If it had not broke I think it would have been a low 1.4.x 60' or a high 1.3x 60'. I would have set a new PB on the run IMO. oh well...
