Wife tore me a new one

Ever since I put the new engine in my wifes car she's been talking smack on how she's gonna kick my ass. We finally made it to the track last night. I had gone to fill my bottle butt thier pump was down so I had to run NA.

First run 7.88 @ 94 to 8.00 @ 89 she wins

Second race she kills me 7.49 to 8.03

I'm not racing her again till I get my bottle filled. We get back from the second run and she gets out of the car and says HA HA I kicked your ass. Every one around us is laughing. My only consolation is I built the dam thing. She wasn't even using the trans brake. Still was a lot of fun and a great way to spend a Thursday night.

Thanks on the compliment. I need to scan photo's of the car when we got it. It was a train wreck. The engine is a 4 bolt 350 30 over, forged I beams, forged pistons, file fit rings, 10.9cc, hydrulic roller cam, shaft mount rockers, topline pro heads, team G intake and 750 carb. Built TH350 trans with brake and 3500 stall, 4.11 gears in stock housing for now. Stock suspesion for now.

My 99 I bought new and has lid, LS6 intake, ported MAF and TB, ASP, TR224, LT's, TNT 150 shot, spec stage 3+, billet flywheel, Built T56, moser 12 bolt with 3.73's. Ran that day with no bottle. This car is the best car I've ever owned, so many good times with it.
