You could have clogged cats or a plugged fuel filter using 2 year old gas.

You could hook up a pressure gage to the fuel rail and check what your fuel pressure is reading. It should be at about 58PSI if I remember right.

Clean the MAF and do the fuel filter. I'd do a complete tune up like plugs and wires but thats just me.

The MAF can look brand new but still be dirty. Get some CRC MAF cleaner, its like $4. The MAF is extremely touchy, ask me how I know. I use to have a K&N. And even if the oil is looking good, if its 2 years old then change it. Oil can get moisture in it, they say to change oil 3000 miles or every 3 months (old saying)

I did, but they tend to mess the MAF up since they can be over oiled. Most will say a paper air filter, I like Amsoil for air filters.

The answer is whoever changed or rebuilt your rear end just put a wrecking yard rear with 2.73s in it out of an auto. I have seen similar before with a couple buddies changing rears to see the effect of a gear swap. Both 6 speeds and one had a wrecking yard 10 bolt out of an auto with 2.73s and the other guy had recently installed 4.10s! Well the guy with the 4.10s went from a 12.80 to a 14.30 just with the rear end swap and very similar 60fts. Almost 2 full seconds. Check your gearing by removing the cover ( prolly needed to change the oil anyway!LOL) and count the ring gear teeth and pinion gear teeth and divide the two to find your ratio!

You don't have to take anything apart to check your gearing. You can simply rotate the wheel and count how many times the driveshaft turns....

Are you dumping the clutch or slipping it out? Sorry if you answered this already, but I didn't feel like going back and reading 3 pages of comments
