What kind of 1/4 gains should I see?

I went 12.02 with lt's 3" xpipe a lid and hptuner with a 4000 stall a stock gear. I add a ms4 cam, ud pulley, ported tb, and a 4.10. Just curious what you think I should run.

my bet would be 11.4-6, if it is an auto then why did you go 4.10 gears. werent you already pulling a 1.5xx 60' which stock gears did you have? with a stall that big i think you should of went 3.73 MAYBE 3.90. let us know if you shift into OD at the end or not

I went with a 4.10 because thats what everone in a auto on the top cam only list was running. And forget to put that I lost about 200lbs.

looks like you are trying to break a record? what is the record time?

i'd say a low 11 since you removed the 200lbs.

i ran a 12.27 last year and since then i replaced the steel ds for an aluminum unit 8lbs lighter, fixed 2-3 shift from 6500 rpm to 6200 rpm where it pulls harder, remover battery to rear, removed spare and jack, removed other stuff and installed the bmr k-member so i to have saved roughly 100-110 lbs most being off the nose.

i really want to hit that 11.999 time while still being internally stock and no power adders

my track opens this saturday and its looking like 65 degrees so if the track hooks the car may just pull it off, wish me luck

Oh and what gears did you have?

This sunday a local group has the track rented out and I should get enough passes to dial it in hopefully.

Good guess, but I went 12.02 w/o the new mods. If the weather would ever cooperate I will find out.

Well I went to the track finally yesterday and was happy with my results. My 4.10 was pinnion was messed up someone had crossthread the pinnion bolt so I ran on my stock 3.23. I ran 11.6 every pass but the first and it was 11.7. My 60' Stayed at 1.59 but when I went into drive the car would really fall off. I crossed the beams at 115 which is about 4800 rpms and thats when I start making the most power so I think when I put a 4.10 in it will really help me there. I was on a pretty base tune a/f at 12.5 and timing at26 from what I've read the ms4 like about 13.1 a/f. When I get the 4.10 in I will try a more extreme tune. Hopefully I can get 11.4 or 11.3 then.

I am really interested in your RPMs will be at the big end with the 4.10s. I just installed 4.11s with my A4. What size tire are you running on?

I have a 26" and 27" tire right now I will try both and see were I'm at with both tires and let you know. I hope this is the right gear for my set up.

From what I am hearing, you may want to try your 27" tire first. I was told I may need a 28" (stock cam).

Finally got to make some passes after my 4.10 install I'm happy the da was +2560 so I think these were pretty good passes. I ran on a 26" and 27" tire the 27 was .1 faster.
Here are my 4 passes, pretty consistant.
    60' 1.55 1.56 1.56 1.55
    330' 4.71 4.74 4.73 4.71
    1/8 7.36 7.41 7.39 7.37
    @ 91.97 91.61 91.81 92.05
    1/4 11.61 11.67 11.66 11.62
    @ 115.93 116.35 116.0 116.19

I'm pretty happy with these times considering the da was so high. At a better track, one thats not 1200ft. I think the car would run alot better number.
