1.7 maybe
The tires will help a little, but not a bunch.
I wish I knew more about the suspension of those cars. I could tell you more.

I went 1.67 with a bolt on suspension F-Body.
You will be lucky in the upper 1.7 range I think.
I have no idea how your suspension is compared to the F-Body.

I have a Moser 9" under mine.

You should EASYLLY be able to run 13.teens easy .........If your a good driver. Have you at least taking the "honey comb" out of the air intake tube......... If not that is the FIRST thing you should do.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

as i said, if i wouldn't worry about my rear end, 12.9x is possible.. beause, if i rev up to 6k rpm and dumped the clutch, i will get low 1.7x 60'.. and i might get 1.6x 60' and which means 12s (if i don't miss anygear)
if i drive it right, i might see flat 13 or 13.1

if u dump it that high with mt's you'll get bout a pass or two more before u blow ur rear up...is it worth it?...if u launch at 4k you'll see low low 13teen's...12.9 is very unlikely for a bone stock gt, even with dr's...unless ur run is perfect down to everything....but good luck, and let me know at happens

I have a feeling the clutch will slip as well.
Plus I think wheelhop might be an issue.
I wouldn't go from 6,000 though. Try 4000 and see how that goes. Maybe kick it up if it bogged.

Well like I said if your a good driver......Dumping the clutch on a stock cammed 3-valve at 6000 rpm IS NOT GOING TO WORK!!!!!
YOU WILL NEVER GET 1.6 60's IF IT'S STOCK LIKE YOU SAID!!! The stock springs in the rear are WAY TOO STIFF!!! Not to mention without taking off the front sway bar end links you'll have NO weight transfer...
Good Luck though!!!

sunday test & tune run has been cancelled by US41 dragway cuz it is too cold!! damn!! i wanted to go to track so bad!! and yeah, i definetely decided not to rev more than 4k rpm.. i dont care about times.. i need this car.. also a guy launched at 6k rpm on modular fords.com and he cut 1.68 60' looks like it is possible but i can't take that risk!!
thanks for all the input.. maybe next week..Last edited by Musclefan21; 11-19-2006 at 10:02 AM.
