went to track today it sucked!!!
why was i so retarded to go and race with my shitty ass street tires?? i was running 13.40@106 and that was with 2.2 and 2.4 60s, on the bright side i was the fastes N/A f-body there, most were running 13.8-14.2 and the stock vettes i went with were running 13.6-8s so i guess i didnt do that bad but a year ago i ran 13.00@107 and since then i got a tune and LCAs, brackets and shocks.
i was really hoping for 12s, guess i should have brought my ET streets with. time to regroupe, and ill prepare bretter for next time in 2 weeks. gonna clean my dirty ass air filter, get a beefy rear end cover and run the ET Streets. think ill see high 12s then?

I think you've got 12s in that thing easy with stickier meat. A 3 tenth improvement in your 60' and 12s are a done deal.

106MPH is an easy 12.75, just keep trying you'll get it.

M6 or A4? I have an A4 and I was able to get consistant 1.989 60' with my slow a$$ car. What psi? I ran 20 in my Eagle HPs (16"). I can't say what the difference was when I went to the ET Streets because the torque convertor went in same time. I went with the 28 x 11.5 R 16. Mine seem to like 18psi.
Drag racing...just another numbers game.

114 is usually good for 11.70-12.00 depending on 60ft/traction. I've ran 113 with a 1.90 60ft and cracked off 11.90. So with a 1.80 a 11.70 should be possible. Sometimes if you have a automatic with a converter that soaks up the power then a 114 might be 12.20.

Well first off that is your biggest problem!!!
NEVER DRIVE THROUGH THE WATER BOX WITH ANY STREET CAR THAT HAS STREET TIRES!!!
Water get caught between the tread of ALL the tires and runs out as you go down the track causing more tire spin.
Your regular street tires DON'T like heat!
Drive around the water box then just back up a few feet. Stopping before the water and just do a light spin to clean the tires off and warm slightly.
I would dump it at 5000 and right after you pop the clutch up push it right back in and roll up to stage. All you want to do is a light haze. If you were
doing a burnout and seeing smoke you put WAY to much heat in them which caused more spin.
Well since you said 3000 rpm I guess it a 6 speed. That is on the high side (rpm) for a regular street tire.

no its an a4, but i step on the brake and accelerate when the light goes green i floor it and let off the brake. looking for tires right now but wow too expensive it has the z06 rims 295/35-18 in rear and 275/40-17 in front.

Yeah that huge meat you have in the front is what we normally run in the rear.
It definitely tracked a nice amount of water since you drove through the water box.
BFG's are about your only option.

Nitto's 18 isn't worth a fuck in my opinion.
