    MPH- 85.69
    1000- 11.050
    1/4- 13.159
    MPH- 106.94

    second run

    R/T- .307
    60'- 2.151
    330- 5.699
    1/8- 8.571
    MPH- 85.75

I think you got a 13.0 outta that car! Did you load the car up by holding the brake and the gas down at the same time

yeah i did, i think if i can get my reaction time down i will do like high 12's maybe a 12.9 that's awesome for basically a stock 01 t/a A-4. I was hoping for mid 13's wen i saw the 13.1 i was like YEAH UHH!

Improving your reaction time won't help your e/t. That only measures how quickly you react to the lights on the tree. Improving your 60ft time will help, though.

Glad you had a good time, that's the most important part!

agreed, quicker off the line will greatly improve your E/T,

    trimming a 2.1 60' down to a 1.9 will prob knock your E/T from 13.1 to about 12.7

btw...way to not call me ass hole

get tires.....a 2.1 short time isn't hooking good by any means. Hook that car up better and your times will nose dive. Pretty good times though for your mods. Wait until you really hook the car the first time.......that's the best part of the whole ride. I could just sit and do hole shots all day. I love that acceleration.

Very close to what our car ran with similar mods my first time out. If you want to see 12's, air up the front tires to around 40 psi, drop the backs to 22 psi or so, pull some weight out of the car and wind it up a bit more at the line.

if you want to get that 60 ft down real far invest in a stall converter. Yank is awesome. Ive not been to a 1/4 track but on street tires feather off the line we ran a 7.76@93 mph with a 1.7 60ft. keep in mind once you get in 7s you have to have a helmet or they will kick you off the track. This i know.

Someone has to have one of those $15 compressors that plugs into the cigarette lighter.

I do, but I keep that in my road emergency pack. I've never actually used it at the track, but it's a thought

I generally take the trailer with a small compressor. Most all tracks that I've been to have an air hose somewhere on the property too at no charge.

Helmet for anything 13.99 or quicker (hardtop car) if it's an NHRA sanctioned track. Some tracks are pretty laid back though on things.

a helmet is just a good idea in general whether it's sanctioned or not. Also, if you buy used check the date on the helmet. Out here they only allow you to run a helmet for 5 years which I believe is an NHRA rule and not just the track's rule.....there will be a date somewhere inside the helmet.
