i am startin a drag raging project and i gotta start somewhere and were else to look than a camaro i've scoped out a couple v-6's in the area but i'm not sure if the 350 i have will fit in it it is goin to be a full body race car will the 98-02 camaro be a good choice or not for a smal block chevy(i know i will have to us a cowl hood)

I'll, uh, disregard the obvious thing to say. Although having acknowledged it already, I guess I'm not really disregarding it.

Yes, the F body Camaros and Firbirds are very good project buildups, particularly the coupes. The aerodynamics alone will give you a great start. T-tops and convertables are going to need more reinforcement. One thing to keep in mind is that the trans is pushed back quite a bit towards the passenger compartment. Even with a change to the hood, you may run in to some interference with your carb or air cleaner. Engine mounting points are different for the LSx than they are for the original 350.

    Other than that, go banana.
