Your in Nebraska,,,,it's all flat farm land and very small population type of towns where everyone knows everyone. You do anything wrong there and the whole town knows about it before you get home

On the street...I noticed no traction difference from a 315 Nitto DR to a 275/50 MT radial.

Firebirdjones pretty much summed up my thoughts. Suspension would aid a bunch. If I can get my car to hook on them, you should be able to as well.
For that matter....Dan can warm them up and get his to hook pretty well....which surprised me quite a bit seeing as how he also has the Nitto DR's and a LOT more power.
Well a friend I know has very simliar mods, same converter, close cam too and he uses M/Ts and I've seen him roast those as well on the street.

I know M/T is great on the track, and i'd like to see what it can do at the track but I can just borrow a set if I wanna do that.

I just want it to hook up better on the street.

Maybe Hoosiers or try the NT05R since they are softer than 555Rs.

If I knew how to build up the suspension right, I would, for now all I got is the relocation brackets and LCAs.

That article mentions a few things. The basic idea is to transfer as much weight to the rear of the car. Other than weight itself, geometry of the suspension is key.

Im on MT drag radials and love them. 315/30/18

yank ss4000, 10 bolt with 342s, ms3, ls6 intake, 4" cutout, 1 7/8" longtubes, UMI 3 point sfs, umi relo brackets, umi 1 piece (no adjustable) lcas.

They hook up very well. Still can get it sideways when i want, but i can get it to hook up pretty well on the street provided its warm and so are my tires! haha
