    Sweet i made it into 14.5 1/4

Lol Well i went to the track today on some pos street tires that i thought were good and i was thinkin i would be in high 12's but that didnt exactly happen.
After 5 runs and a really pissed off driver i took off for the day.
I have an a4 and i decided to try and shift from first to 2nd then drive.
I guess launchin at 2 g wasnt a good idear.
spun all the way thru first hit second and hooked then broke loose again were i continued down the track to trap in at like 101.
I'm thinkin i need some dr or something that will hook up
    That suckedd.

more practice will do you good. here's a nice piece of advice. if it's spinning, let out. it's really cool to spin through 2 gears. just not condusive to low ets. if i can do 11.97 and 11.99 on goodyear eagle GT 245/50-16 tires on n2o, you can do a 13.

what i do to launch is sit at idle. i don't raise the rpms. roll into it as fast as i can without spinning the tires. black car did 13.60 @ 101.66 back when it was stock.

Also..... leave it in "D" when driving.

Shifting yourself makes you slower every time in an A4.

What was your tire pressure? Dropping your tire pressure down could help you as well.

Put left foot on brake. Rev car with right foot to 1400rpms, let go of brake pedal when you see the 3rd ember. Roll into the throttle, don't go WOT. Move about 12-15 feet, and then just floor it.

After you collect your time slip you can tell all the M6 drivers they have no skill, thereby pissing them off, and getting them to want to kill you.

You think thats bad? I was at the 1/8th mi track here in Mooresville, NC a few months back with my BMW 540I 6 speed. It was the first time I had taken the car to the track. After a few halfway decent runs, I decided to push the RPM launch little by little until I found the cut off point.
    Well, I found it.
On my last pass, I launched it at roughly 2500RPM, spun 1st gear, moved maybe an inch forward, let out the throttle, hit it again, quick shifted to 2nd to try and find some traction, spun 2nd gear, didn't go anywhere, so I let out the throttle, rolled the window down, coasted and waved to everyone sitting in the stands.
    Final timeslip:
    13.6@28mph. In the 1/8th
