    stock LS3 at 1/4mi track

    this guy from another board posted his stock LS3 runs, I though I'd share his findings...

    car: 2008 c6 bone stock
    weight: 3200lbs
    transmission: auto
    gears: 2.73
    tires: street
    gas: 91
    altitude/region: south Cali
    dyno# 370-375rwhp 420tq


    Results:

    1st run:
    60' 2.30
    1/8mi 8.53 @ 91.17
    1/4mi 12.74@119.5

    2nd run:
    60' 2.29
    8.37 @ 91.54
    12.575 @ 118.1

    3rd run: (Best run)
    60' 2.21
    8.23 @ 92.11
    12.41 @ 119.5

    with 3.73 gears and DRs he'd be 12.1 at least...

    Mr. Luos is correct, with that MPH the car is actually capable of low 11's if the rest of the package is optimized, but with a package that is geared more towards handling it won't happen.

    I have run 11.40's at only 118 mph,,,and my 60 foot times still are not what they should be.
