No 12's (yet) But New PB
Went to the track today and had a good time.
They had a few timing problems, no 1/8th on one slip no MPH on another.
The car ran real well but I couldn't get a decent 60 ft time even with the DR's.
It was also the first time its been WOT since the LT install and tune.
First Run 11:06am RL
60ft 2.009 1/8 N/A 13.209 at 106.33mph
Second Run 11:15 LL
60 ft 2.058 1/8 8.544 at 85.21mph 1/4 13.183 at 106.35mph
Third Run 11:29 LL
60ft 2.055 1/8 8.546 at 85.23mph 1/4 13.175 at 106.96mph
Fourth Run 11:37 RL
60ft 2.015 1/8 8.537 at 85.51 mph 1/4 13.161 at 106.33
Fifth Run 11:43 LL (Best Run)
60 ft 2.066 1/8 8.534 at 85.57 1/4 13.141 at 107.83
Sixth Run 12.21pm RL
60ft 2.013 1/8 8.579 at 84.96 1/4 13.231 MPH N/A
Too many FWD cars driving right through the water box :x
A lot of peoples 60ft were off as they were spinning.

Drop your 60" and you have a 12. Just get some DR's or ET Streets and you should be good.

What DR's are you running? I assume you are trying to foot brake it? What RPM before you are rolling the tires?

Hoosiers 255/50/16.
I tried launching off idle,brought it up to 1000 RPM,tried 1200RPM.
I think the 1200 RPM launch was pretty good it netted me my 2.066 60ft 13.141 at 107.83 slip.
That 60 wasn't my best I got a 2.01 on another run.
Next time I will do a medium burnout have the tires at 17-18psi and leave at what ever the brakes will hold.
A friend of mine has the same tires and 3600 stall and gets 1.65 60fts.
I would be happy with a 1.89-1.95 with the stock converter.

I have pretty much the same mods as you, and I can't for the life of me get in the 12's. Best time was 13.00 @ 108 (FML) My Nitto 555's hook pretty good so I'm thinking the next step is definitely going to be a stall, probably a 3600. Seems to be the easiest way to get into 12's with just having Full intake and exhaust.

The best time I was able to cut on Nitto 555r DR's was 1.906 launching at 3K. I'm a M6.
You should definitely be able to cut one below me with those Hoosiers.
On stock rubber I netted a 2.06.

That would do it for sure.
My 02 SS vert had only headers and an off road Y-pipe, (stock CME catback) and I stuck a little 3400 stall in there.
I went 12.76 at 107.xx and did that on the stock rubber. Cut a 1.90 60 foot with it driving it easy. A 1.70 60 foot would have been cake walk with sticky tires, probably drop into the 12.40's or 50's easily.

The funny thing is I got a 2.01 on my 275/40/17 Yoko's last fall and my 60's are the same now.
I did all the free mods last week(FRA,PP TB,EGR mod,TBBP) so I am hoping its enough to get it there.
I still need a nice day to do my RLCA's and PHB.
I guess I have all summer

Wow, how come you can only launch at 1100-1200 rpms? If I remember I was launching my A4 at about 1600-1700 or a little higher.
I was with 2.73s at the time though, not sure what your gears are.

My 60's average around 2.0. Can't get much better than that without DR's or a stall, OR both, hehe =)
