After Tropical Storm Bill forced the cancellation of the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals last year in Indianapolis, the NMCA is really looking forward to the return of the series to Lucas Oil Raceway. The 15th Annual NMCA All-American Nationals on June 23-26 is going to be bigger and better than ever as the World’s Fastest Street Cars take over the famous raceway with new classes, the 10th anniversary of the Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout, a special drifting event on Saturday on the oval track and a whole lot more!

This fourth race of the NMCA season will be jammed with action as racers of the NMCA join with the competitors of the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series as the nations quickest and fastest doorslammers converge for a festival of horsepower. Led by the insane VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mod class and the completely unpredictable Mickey Thompson Radial Wars class, this event will showcase some of the fastest and wildest cars on the planet!

Also featured in Indy will be a special eliminator for the crazy drivers’ of the MX235 class. MX235 teamed up with the NMCA to introduce the MX235 Series presented by Redline Motorsports. With over 50 racers across the country, MX235 attracts high-horsepower muscle cars that are keeping it real on little tires. With speeds of over 140 mph and ETs in the 4-second zone in the 1/8-mile, this heads-up class is already a fan favorite!

As if that weren’t enough, there will be the battle of Nostalgia Super Stock All-Star Shootout presented by Quick Fuel Technology which pits eight top NMCA ATI Performance NSS regulars against eight from the Victory Motorsports Nostalgia Super Stock Series in a special winner-take-all runoff under the lights on Saturday night. It has also been announced that if more than 50 NSS cars attend the race, the field for the shootout will be expanded to 32 cars.

Finally, for those who appreciate the art of drifting, the NMCA has teamed up with the Midwest Drift Union Championship Series for this one event only. Round 2 of the MDU four-race series will be burning rubber on the Lucas Oil Speedway starting with practice at 10:00am on Saturday, June 25. A one-day NMCA spectator ticket provides access to both events!
