I'm tearing it down this weekend. I have to make my own motor mounts, fab the exhaust and fuel system. Wire harness and computer are here from Howell. Probably take me 3-4 weeks to complete. Alot of little things to do in the process.

If you need a 4l60e built the right way to hold that power let me know, most local shops do not know the little tricks to make them shift right.

either way they are run very similar...I should have slapped my stock 2000 z28 cam in the truck...may be worth that 13.9 1/4 pass......or just get a tv.2 cam 232 234 .595 .598.....for some real gains
If you are going to go through the trouble of camming an engine then go for the last one you mentioned. That will net you some good gains. Plus make a nice lopey sound.

yeah i know, I want the truck to sound bad, and with the tv.2 in my camaro I never lost more then 1-2 mpgs, but the camaro needs a bigger cam, possibly a ms3 or so

kinda, its a 3.90 with a 30in tire, comes out to be the same a a 3.23 geared camaro with 26in tires, the truck needs 4.56's, then it will be like a camaro with 3.90's, that will be a decent gear for the weight.
