just got back from the track!

yea i just got back from the track little bit ago. it went pretty good i got a better reaction time (.112) then last time (5.23) for some reason i cant get my car to run better then a 14, i mean this is my 3rd time going to the track. but damn isnt my car sapposed to be running low 13's? although i cant run anything better then 14 at my track becuase i dont have a helmet, but still i tried to go all out to see what my car can do but even then i could hit anything lower then 14.

Oh yea and this guy in a cuda idont know what year. but after he stagged and the embers turn green he launched but snapped his rear end and his left tire kind broke off. it was kinda funny but fuked up at the same time.

Its gonna vary by track and conditions. The 13.xx number people toss about are the average. At my local track and knowing my car I amexpecting nothing more thena possible low 14 given altitude and track prep. As well as cheap street tires.

Are you a stick or manual?

not all GM rear ends, just the 10 bolt and 350HP

speaking of getting out of the hole, i still can't find a good launch rpm, can i get some feedback on how some of you guys have learned to launch hard, keep in mind me TA is a stock m6 but should have the 3.42 rear according to the coding. thanks

yeah all 6 speeds that are stock have that gearing, they asked for your code number becuase if it was a auto there are too different ratios.

Just find what your car likes start low and keep upping it by a hundred rpm's until it breaks loose and then you know that you have to keep it lower than that.

Theres no special rpm to launch cause there's too many variables(tires, track conditions, ect.) but don't put it to floor as soon as you take off. The key is to not have it bog but not have it break loose so you have to find the place in the middle.
