Light Pewter Metallic- 2K Camaro Z28
I'm in the 12s.
I ran last night.
My first run was a 14.x which I won't even bother posting the numbers...
Second run
60': 1.821
330': 5.192
1/8: 8.037
MPH: 86.15
1000': 10.508
1/4: 12.603
MPH: 107.21
Annnd my other 8 runs were slower due to the fact that my KDW2 couldn't hook anymore..
I'll post the timeslip as soon as I get it scanned.
EDIT: Timeslip below...

Black on Black- 2000 Camaro SS M6
Good stuff bro! I was really excited when I got into the 12s too. I been racing at an airport the last 2 years cause its really fun, but its not for time. three years ago I ran a 12.9 before my headers, cats, y-pipe, borla, LS6, .410 drag radials and a good tune. Im really curious as to what I can get my car to run. Maybe Ill take it to the track this year. I think Ill need alot of practice though with my timing on the lights. LOL

Thanks. I know what I need to buy to get my low 12s this year... ET streets.

Don't worry about your timing at the lights. Its cool and all, but just worry about your ET , mph, and 60ft. Timing will come. Havent dropped into 12s myself yet... ran a 13.3 my best but that was w/ bolt ons. Have a 4200 Vig, 3.73 gears, LTs, no cats, 2 cutouts, and tuned so hopefully I will be in the 12s now.

^^^ You should be close to where I am. Probably around 12.3-12.4ish w/ sticky tires.

Yea my 60ft for my 13.3 was anywhere from 2.1 - 2.3 or so. Hopefully the gears/stall will make that better, I have some Nittos on their but can prolly find some slicks to borrow for a few runs. Should be getting out there after I get my suspension all set and aligned.

With a 1.82 60' I dont think you had much wheel spin. You may not gain too much with stickys unless they are a smaller diameter to help out your gear ratio. I run BFG DR's and 60' a best of 1.78. Were you leaving on the floor or feathering it?

You're right, I dead hook on my 1.8 60'. I couldn't remember on what or how I did it, but I did it. After that run, I couldn't hook anymore. My friend says next time try to brake stall it at 2500s
then at the 3rd light let go of the brakes and press the gas gradually. I'll see if that did the trick when I ran my 12.6.
