how to determine setup for weather?
well i hear this every time i go to the track, everyone says "its bc the weather" good and bad.
how should i deciepher all the track talk??
from track temps/conditions, temp, etc.....

Most serious racers us what is called DA or Density Altitude. It's all these conditions combined to give you a weather related altitude reading.
It is a forever changing condition and must be logged if you are going to compare times and tuning procedures with each individual car.
Generally speaking though, as far as tuning...............
The higher the DA the less fuel and/or timing (or both) the engine will want.
The lower the DA the more fuel and/or timing (or both) the engine will want.
Or in even simpler terms,,,,cooler temps, more fuel,,,,warmer temps, less fuel.
Nothing is written in stone and every car/engine is a little different.
