gto 05 vs 2001 camaro ss

Hello everyone, i got a friend that has a gto 05 ls2 cammed out, an tuned andthe regular bolt ons, i have a full bolt ons m6 ls1 camaro with some bfg tires. the guy is going to give me 2 cars an reaction time, do i stand a chance we are going to a 1/4 mile. and their is some cash involved, so please anybody, DO I HAVE A CHANCE. ps im a better drive, oh shot, i forgot he has a 3,6k, stall. no tires neither an were going from a dig??//.........

I had a hard time reading your post, but from what I can gather, if he hooks, you're toast.

Who might be the "better driver" is irrelevant here. He has an A4, thus there is no real driving skill involved.

What does "cammed out" mean?

In one part of your post, you said you had "bfg" tires. Near the end, you said "no tires neither". What's the scoop? Are your "bfg" tires drag radials? I hope so. You'll need them.

i raced a stock 6.0 gto and got him but by a car length. i do have a mild cam and some bolt ons. But you should be good thats if you get the two car lengths

I think the best way to find out is to race. Thats just how I do it. I dont care if I am going to win or lose. I know you said there is cash invloved. Again one way to find out race.

i'm going to go out on a limb and say "cammed out" means the stock camshaft inside the engine has been replaced with a higher lift, longer duration aftermarket one.
