well I made my first run in this car tonight and not to upset with the results all things considered. my best time of the night was a 8.746 @ 85.3 mph with a 60ft of 2.112. cheap ass street tires didn't help things any lol. mods are 4.10s slp lid and loudmouth catback

Thats a decent MPH for a very high 1.8th time... Sounds like major traction issues hehe... Specially with them 4.10's im sure

yeah thats why im not too upset, couldn't launch over 2500 and spinning through 2nd and a lil in third. it was just a test and tune night and i don't think that they prepped the track very well that night. also you have to drive through the water box because they spray down the whole width of the track so you track a little water to the line. with that mph and a 1.8 1.9 60' what should i be running?

With a 1.9 60ft and your mods maybe 8.30 -40ish. 1.9 60ft is very elusive in a mostly stock car though.

throw some DR or slicks and that will make you better alot. personally i think our cars stock are a lot better from the 1/8 to the finish line.

not bad, auto or m6? Like I said before i think they didn't prep the track or something because one pass when i shifted into third my rear almost crossed the center line. dunno if the car in front of me had a leak or what the deal was.

street tires is the reason your getting high 8s. DRs will cut 1.9 60' regularily and you can see 8.4 as best ET in your case

Beware the drag radials on the stock 10 bolt rear diff. though, they have an appetite for them.

Are drag radials REAL hard on the rear end with an Automatic car also? Or is it worst on the M6? With my stock converter I should only be able to launch at like 1200rpm.

not so bad on an unstalled auto and its not too bad on an m6 car as long as you don't get crazy with the launch

Thats supposed to be a nice track. You need some drag radials.

it is a nice track but it was a test and tune night and there were maybe 30 people there. the gates opened at two and we got there an hour before they shut down at 9:30. The track wasn't sticky at all but I agree i really need some drag radials.
