First track times

I Finally got my car to the track. I know that my gears are killing me 2.73's. Here is my best time

I was racing in Gulfport Ms not the best track ever and I just spun and wheel hopped through my 60. Mod's are in sig. I also have street tires.

What do you guys think I can do to get faster I am getting a LS6 Intake next week. I do not have the money for more mods right now and i go on deployment in a few months and then i will save up for a stall and gears thanks for your help.

From what I see, it's your 60 ft that killed you the most. Don't see any mods/signature. However, almost 105 MPH should mean 13.40s with a 2.1 or better 60 ft.

And yeah, if you don't have a stall, that will get about .3, if you get a good 60 ft.

I see now, that's why your MPH was high considering your 2.73s. I had a '98 AT Trans Am with 2.73s, my best was a 13.65 @ 102.95 with a lid, WS6 hood and airbox. I think the 60 ft was 2.1x.

Now the '00 WS6, with its 6-spd, Hookers and ORY, lid, has a best of 12.89 @ 109.85, usually runs 13.1 @ 107-108.

BTW, I'd love to have TDs. Do yours go all the way out the back? Or dump before the axle.

I got them from Texas Speed they dump. They are so loud at WOT but pretty calm normal driving.

Keep playing with it, when i first sarted racing at the track i couldnt break out of the 13's. Two weeks later i was running mid to high 12's. without changing a thing.
