First track night with the 6 speed

Well im leaving for school tomorrow so last night was my only chance to get to run it after the swap before i store it tonight. It was also my first time ever launching it as a 6speed because when i swapped it, i mounted the MC too low and that kept my slave from disengaging in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear if i went WOT with it and i couldnt get it out of gear. So before i left i mounted it higher which also changed the point of engagement so it was practically a whole new car to me and i was on my way to the track haha. I was completely fine rowing the gears but im still working on my launch. It didnt help that couldnt burnout due to bad wheel hop on 2 of my 3 passes. keep in mind, i was NOT concerned about RTs, i was going when it felt right.

I completely messed the whole first run up and bogged the piss out of it. Resulted in a 13.8 at 107mph 2.44 60ft. This was only my 2nd launch as a 6spd

This was my best of the night. 13.4 at 107mph 2.10 60ft I did spin pretty good on this run too.

Had potential on being the best because i decided to powershift this run and hit 2nd perfect but missed 3rd. Resulted in a 13.7 at 107 2.19 60ft

So all in all, i was happy with the night. I know i can row the gears but i just gotta learn where to launch this baby at. After last night, that makes a total of 4 launches in the car haha. I would have liked to see 12s because as an A4 it went 13.0 at 107 bouncing off the limiter 4 times before shifting into 3rd so i know for a fact the car can go 12s.

On a side note, the 3rd gear pull in the car is outrageous, it pulls so hard. 4th gear pulls damn hard too. All my friends that were there watching said once i hit 3rd it seemed like i hit nitrous and my friend in the camaro (2nd vid) said thats when i pulled like freight train on him. I guess thats my welcome to world of a 6 speed ls1 powered car haha
