take out some easy weight, go on an 1/8th tank of gas and you should see 12s.

Just a note, I always try to keep at least 1/2 tank in the car at the track for three reasons: 1) That is what cools the fuel pump; 2) Less room for fuel slosh; and 3) It is weight at the back of the car.

Other tips -- put 40 lbs in the front tires and drop the backs to 25 lbs or less, remember to check the air pressure after the first two runs as it will rise as the tires warm up, open the hood between runs to help engine heat escape, try no to idle too long in the staging lanes, make sure you have high test fuel in the tank so as to avoid having your knock sensors pull timing.

I have been told the same thing, but for some reason, my car likes less fuel.

Same here but I do have amps and a sub in the back. I removed the sway bar and keep the air in the front at 32/33 psi and drop the rears from 25/19 psi. If there is not traffic at the time slip shack I pop the hood up. As Jeff stated I keep the hood open between runs. I don't close the hood until I stage. At the local track here you can get high test fuel above 93.

ditto, i always try to run around 1/8th tank, also i dont need the weight in the rear of mine because the BFG G-force Sports work real well for me, i do not lose traction so why weigh it down?

great times BTW im kinda jealous!!! lol
