First time at track in SS.

Was kinda hoping for high twelves, but satisfied with 13.20 at 106 at full weight and almost a full tank of gas. My last pass was the best. Could I hit twelves with 1/4 tank, jack and spare removed? Car's an a4. Mods in sig.

Slap a stall on it and you will see low 12's all day. I know how it feels to not hit the desired time.

Thats exactly where my 02 vert ran with darn near the same bolt ons.
Mine is also an auto with pacesetter headers, and a little tuning. It has the LS6 intake already but still runs the stock dinky truck camshaft.

Your 60 foot time should have been near mine as well,,,about 2.1 or so.

Simply installing a sticky tire would get you a tick closer to 12's and maybe with good air you'd see it. But the best thing for the car now would be a converter.
I have mine on the way,,,and even with stock street rubber I think it will give me enough to dip into the 12's,,,then go from there with more goodies

Oh just to add,,,,I have always found that racing with less gas in the tank does more harm than good when traction is at a premium. I generally always run 3/4 tank or more,,,,the extra weight over the rear wheels helps me when running rock hard street rubber. I also don't like to run the risk of the pickup starving...

Right now I'm to lazy to pull the transmission to put a stall in and can't see payin somebody else to do it for me. My best 60' was a 2.011. I didn't really have any spin at all the track was so sticky I could here it grabbin my tires to the point I thought I did somethin to the car when I did my burn out. Kinda like i was drivin on glue. The temp was around 60 so the air was good.
If I can muster some ambition I might get a stall around fall. Lol.
1st I think I'm gonna upgrade the rockers, and valve springs. I know it won't help much, but it will give me peace of mind. Had needle bearings in the oil pan of a Silverado I had.

My best was 12.90 at 115 mph. That was with a horrible 2.2 60'. Track was junk.

I would think at 115 you could do way better than 12.9. I was talkin to a guy in a supercharged Shelby at the track and at 450rwhp I think he was only bout 117. I seen him hit 11.90's, but it was his 1st time runnin with that set up.

Good times man. You'll be in the 12s with ease next time out with a little weight off.

My thoughts exactly but the 60' was horrible. Good launch and I should see hopefully low 12's
