First time at track

Ran my bone stock 02 ss M6 at the track last night, also my first time. Best run 13.45 @ 107.1 mph with 2.1 60'. THIS THING ROCKS ! Let the mods begin.

107 is a really good mph. you may have on of those LS6 camaros. look at the head casting number. if it is 243 it is ls6 !!!congrates!!! if it is 241 its ls1.

Only a few cars in 02 have the ls6 and most people don't even know it.

I think the 02 ss had a raised lid from the factory similar to the slp lid giving it a little more tan previous years. but the slp lid still helps.

let me know on the head number.

Also if you can cut a high 1.9 60' its in the 12's

If i knew this before i bought my car i would have looked for the 02, but i just installed ls6 heads on my car so its good enough.

LOL, just having fun. MY buddy's stock 200 formula went 13.01 @ 106.xx with a 1.998 60'. It was a m6 with factory size street tires. If he was that close to 12's i would imagine a car trapping 107 would get it with a great launch.

if u have a ls6 it makes the same hp as a ls1............ it still has ls1 heads there for it a ls1 with windo ports in the block wich make it weeker and nice job with the 13.4 ive seen ppl take moded f cars and run 14s (ones that cant drive) my car only has intake and ex and i diped in to the 12s i got a 12.97 @110 mph and 2.051 60' i think i can get more out of it but the next run i broke my axle on that line one 255 street tires

From what i have heard those windows inside the block are supposed to allow it to rev. higher and allow the crankcase to breath.
