First time at the track!

I decided to take my z28 out the track earlier for the first time. Best time was a 13.32 105.46 and took out a 9 second car

mods are gmmg chambered exhaust, air box, and composite MAF. Also it is an A4. Is this a good time for my first day?

Sounds good at low 13s especially first time out
Few more mods and you can say you daily drive a 12 second car.

My 1/8th on this run was a 8.701 and that was my best. I'm working on getting some longtubes and gears. I have stock gears right now but looking to upgrade. I didn't spin barely at all just a little screech.

Your stock gears are 2.73 or 3.23?

Well, haha i really don't know my stock gears. Help on how to find out? I was running about 1500 to 1600 on launch

Gu2=2.73
Gu5=3.23 - if you got these then i believe you should also have an aluminum driveshaft

check the door codes (RPO Codes)

You probably have 2.73
What does the door code say GU2?

Gears don't make to big of a difference down the quarter, but still nice time on the 2.73s for what ya got

Yeah i just thought they would be a nice cheap investment. They don't cost too much I don't think, and thanks for the help finding them!

if you put 3.73s in the car its a huge difference in the quarter i'd say 2.73 to 3.73 and drag radials easy half sec.

I mean 2.73 to 3.23 is not a big difference in the 1/4

A stall is more beneficial, if it were me i would say wait and do both with a decent tune at the same time
