Finally can say I ran 12's :)
Went to Etown tonight. Ran a 12.9 @ 114mph 2.3 60ft and 12.8 @ 115mph 2.2 60ft. This was on street tires. This is only my second time at the track and I am happy with myself. I have video and slips but will have to wait until Tuesday to post the slips. Video will be posted soon hopefully.

Needs a gear bad,,,,just sayin
Runs good though considering how easy you drove it and the fact you can cross the finish line in 3rd if you wanted.
The car has ALOT more in it.

just looking at the mph and 60 you can tell you're leaving alot on the table....and I mean alot. For reference last year I trapped 115 on a 1.6x 60' and ran 11.8x

yeah i was looking at your slips, almost .600 reaction, and 2.2/2.3 60'
with trap speeds in the 115 range, you should be able to get down to about 12.5 or better if you can get off the line a little better.

Yeah I know I'm leaving a lot on the table but I'm getting there. This last track trip showed my shifting is getting MUCH better then when I first went. I want to get my shifting better and my launch better. Once I can get a pretty good launch on street tires I will move on to drag radials and risk the 10 bolt lol

Low 12's easy and possibly high 11's if you get that 60' down.
For every .1 you reduce your 60' by, that's about .2 less on your final ET.

^^^confirmed,
and, OP,
congrats on the 12s. I know I was happy when I hit them, but it's only happend a few times. With trap times of 114, that's deep in the 12s with a good 60 ft. I haven't trapped over 110 yet, that's the goal for next year, along with having MPG in the upper 20s. Freaks people out at work to tell them the car gets such good MPG, they routinely estimate 15!

This is right on the button. You technically have an easy 11 second car, you just have to exploit it.
With a good 60 foot and aggressive driving, it's there. Plenty of MPH to support it.
A gear will help your 60 foot nearly as much as tires will. A 2.66 first gear and 3.42's doesn't really set the world on fire. To get those 60's like Orion mentioned will likely require a good tire, and more rearend gear.

Thanks. Yeah I know a gear and a tire will help me greatly but I have no want to waste money on my 10 bolt. The only thing I have put money into was a TA girdle. I will invest in a tire as soon as I can get my launch down with street tires.

I wasn't sure if you were M6 or A4...I didn't watch the vids I see now below that Firebird mentions a 3.42 gear though so yeah I didn't catch that previously.
I cut 2.0 with my M6 and 3.42 gears slipping the clutch out at 2500RPM on stock rubber.
A TC probably wouldn't work too well on your car
