Yeah it was a very sweet car, it sat on a set of HRE 897R's which are some of the nicest wheels IMO. He sold it last year and now has a Pewter '98 Z28 hardtop that made 733 at the wheels via a nitrous LQ9 setup.

I traded in a 99 Contour SVT for my 02 Z28 in October of 02. It was a pewter silver A4. I was invited to an SVT event in September of 03 since I still kept in touch with my friends from SVToA.

We went to Quaker City Raceway in Salem Ohio the first week of September. The elevation is about 1200' and the temps were in the mid 80's and humid. Not the best day for a run.

There were a bunch of the new 03 supercharged Cobra's there. The verts were running 13.8-14.1. The coupes were running 13.4-13.7. I ran several 13.7's at 103 and change. This was bone stock with a fresh paper air filter and 5500 miles on the car.

I just bought an 02 white A4. It has 57,000 one owner miles and it has been well maintained. I'm going to take it to the track as it sits and see what I get. I'll post results.

Then I'll progress with a lid. Then sticky dr's. Then long tubes, high flow cats and a cat-back.

I'll post the results with each mod so we all can see what the different upgrades do. I keep pretty good records so We'll know the DA and can compensate to what difference what mod makes.

ran a 13.2 with just cutout and lid. might have removed torque reduction but it was about as stock as it's been... this was a month after i got it oh and it did the same one run with the cutout closed. Guess they don't do much for E.T.'s lol

Positive. Bought it from Reliable Pontiac in Northern California 3 years ago...completely stock. Heck, Motor Trend was able to muster 107.4 mph out of their 2000 WS6 test mule. You've never seen a stock LS1 trap 107mph? I'm guessing you live up in the mountains somewhere???

    Yeah the T/A's an M6. My first LS1 was an Artic White '98 Z28 A4 I bought in 2000 that averaged 13.70s @ 102 in stock form.

My 02 SS convertable/auto was a bone stocker,,,race weight of 3,820 lbs with me and all equipment.

Paper filter and all went a best of 13.70 at 102 mph with 2.2 60 foot times.

Purchased HPtuner and did a few simple tuning tricks and went 13.40's at 104 mph consistently with nearly same 60 foot times.

Installed long tube headers and off road Y-pipe and went 13.30's at 106 mph, without changing the tune,,,car still running pig rich thanks to my MAF tables.

Went back, still same tune but the DA was a little better with slightly cooler weather and ran 13.20's at 106 and some change.

Frost straightened out my MAF table, I then installed the wideband and got the AFR pretty decent. Car is much much stronger now but never made it back to the track.

Have since also installed a 3,400 fuddle,,,just haven't had the time to tinker with the car at the track lately though.

All your mod/gains seem right on par for a healthy LS1 car.

Thanks,,,there are some other little things in between some of that stuff I did to the car but it didn't yield me anything at the strip so I left it out,,,things like underdrive pulley and some of the little free things.

There's alot more to it with an entire log but that covers the majority of it.

After leaning out the AFR and installing the converter I'm thinking the car should be somewhere in the high 12's now. Thats purely speculation on my part but it seems feasable. I'll have to score some 17 inch drag radials with wheels first though, since going to the track now on stock rubber is wasting my time,,,that converter has made first gear pretty much useless.
Wish that stupid 4L60E didn't have such a steep first gear.

Again they are asking for Stock times. Not if you put 4.10's in or weight reduction or ported this and that. Oh and a 4k stall.

I be on something but what you're sniffen is much better.
