He does. And if he hooks he is well capable of 11's. I'm just saying he's not going to hook worth a shit with those Nitto's.

not sure about those new Nitto's but I got decent 60's out of 555r's. 1.70 and 1.71 on a regular basis. The main thing I noticed is they aren't as consistent as et streets. I would throw in that 1.80 and all points in between from time to time. On et streets all my runs would be a couple hundreths apart. I'm still saying that car has 11's in it. He's modded for 11's. I don't think the lca relocation and all that is going to effect his a4 as much as it would an m6. It's not going to help him but he's not going to be dumping off the line like you would in an m6.

Just admit that I'm right so we can move on......

j/k but I do think the car has 11's potential

what mods at the time? That's a nice 60 for sure. Add 2/10's to your 60 and you're looking at an 11.90ish. Like I say....not sure on the new nittos but a 1.78 60' on the old ones was easy to hit.

-1350 DA day... 11.72ish tends to be time on warm days. Track Altitude 619'. I did not drop into the 11's on nitto's. A 1.78 60' is not bad. But ET Street's or Hoosier race slick will net a better 60' period. Many things will improve your 1/4 mile times period. But that first 60 is going to tell you what you will run.

11's are easy when everyone's bench racing - but, that's what the forums are for!

12.38 might be a little slow for what he has, but I made my bed, I'm gonna lay in it, and stick to my prediction.

Updated mod list to include rod ends on lca's and panhard and added LCA Relo brackets

Sorry for the re-updates but it's hard to think about all the mods while at work and nowhere near the car

Are you going to be running in Mt. Morris? If so, how is the track there? Last time I was there it sucked.

it really took me forever to get into the 11's. I had what I would consider an 11 second car for a while before I ever ran one. I saw a lot of frigin 12.00's and 12.01's Used to drive me crazy. It will be tough probably for him to get in the 11's but the potential is there.....just need one good run where the car dead hooks and IMO that'd be an 11 second pass.

Now that everything about the car has come to light, I'll say the car definately has 11 second potential. Plenty of 11 second "cam only" LS1's out there doing it.

I just wonder if this is a stock weight car or has he removed things to lighten it??

The biggest questions on my mind that will hold the car back are,,,,

Is the tune spot on and ready since the new FAST intake swap? It hasn't been back on the dyno since the swap according to the comments in post #15. That leads me to believe the tune wasn't touched up?? How can shift points be set if we don't know where peak HP occurs?

Nitto tires aren't the best. I struggled with them myself. A set of M/T ET's or drag radials would be a huge improvement. New driver? No passes on the combo yet? Shift points? Alot of unknowns.

Are track conditions going to support a good run? DA this time of year in his neck of the woods should be decent, I just wonder if they spend the money to prep the track this late in the year??

Too many variables. But I'll venture to say he'll be stuck in the low 12's on his first attempts.

Bring the laptop and wideband with you to touch up the tune while you're there. You will more than likely find a few tenths.

The car was retuned after the fast. When the new tranny went in. It wasn't a dyno tune just tuned on the street with the laptop and wideband

A little easier to do with 3.23's because it's not hitting the tires as hard.
