    Diablosport Predator

    Just bought one..
What if any better times can you expect at the track.
Im a A4 and run pretty consistent 13.6's..
They claim 10 to 20 h.p.. Is it possible to see a gain of a tenth or even a couple of 100th ???

Only thing I have more than stock is a lid , Different catback and cold air........

    Humor me guys............

The only thing I noticed when I got mine was that it made it shift a little harder, other than that its a good toy to check the Service Engine Codes when it gets one.

Other than that its a waste of maney, IMO.

Take it to a real tuner to see real results.

I think you will see a gain just not what you would if it was dyno tuned.

Only one way to find out! Let us know how it what happens.

Cheaper and better to just have it tuned. Programmers are junk. Get it tuned and you will thank yourself.

The Tune on a Predator is very conservative, so you do get some out of it but not as much as you would from a real tune.

Without going in much details cause I don't have time....
But ran the car tonite at the track and turned a 13.2 the 1st run and ran a 13.1 the 2nd. So I gained a full 1/2 sec. going with the tune. Other factors come to play too I'm sure but we're talking .5 of a sec. of what I could run before. Thats alot....More than happy with what I got.

For a hand held it is actually about the best out there. You can adjust their tune to your car and gain even more.

You need to check out their forums and read the threads about LS cars. You can look at the LTFT and get an idea if your close now to optimum.
It has some nice features you can use besides clearing codes. Do some data logging and look at the PIDS.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
