    confused/angry

I ran 15.2 at the track....about 50 degrees out, street tires and 4.10 gears. SES light was on when i was racing but it was 02 sensor related. could that be why i ran such shitty times? or do tires make that much of a difference? I'm doing a tune up on the car this weekend so hopefully i'll see some better times

Bad 02's can cripple your car (the front ones) as they play a HUGE part in calculating your fuel/air ratio.... I got beat by a V6 firebird once...both front 02's were bad and I had a clogged cat. If your 02's are killing over, you should also check out your cats (if you have any). They have a knack for dying early in the game.....hope this helps.

Also, as long as you weren't spinning halfway down the track, your tires will not make you run 2+ seconds slower than a normal fully stock LS1 F-Body...

i'll check the 02's out while i'm doing the tune up, maybe they're dirty cause i bought new ones in july 08. CATS were good last time i checked (about a month ago) i'll bang on them to see if they're falling apart...thanks

If your 02's are that new, I'd definitely take a very close look at your cats then.... and if you're getting codes, it may be too late for your 02's. Headers, no cats and new front 02's, and be done with it (Unless your emissions laws rape your poor T/A... )

Shouldn't have anything to do with your O2 sensors.

When you go WOT, the PCM goes back into closed loop and ignores all input from the O2 sensors. It runs the engine based on pre-determined tables for fuel delivery.

As suggested, check your cats and fuel pressure. Either one of those could half your power.

R/T isn't factored into your time

Its when you cross the start line that the ET starts counting.

What was the MPH? A burnt plug wire can cause what you experienced.

You'd crap yourself if you found that your air filter was the whole cause of everything Not that I think that is the cause, that sucker would have to be clogged with small rodents
