Can't Hook Anymore
Since I got the new engine in. I can't hook anymore.
So now I have to make some changes.
I currently run ET Streets on 17" wheel. Plan on switching to a 16" wheel and ET Drags.
Suspension is all BMR with Eibach springs and Blisteins.
Thinking of going back to the stock springs on the rear.
What else can I do? My normal 60' is 2.0 or higher. Once in a while I will get a 1.9Black 1999 Blown Convertible A4

man it sucks when you have that much power. i've cut 1.709 60 ft on nitto 315/35-17 DRs. that was on a nicely prepped track. how have you been launching? maybe see about getting the supercharger to spool later in the rpms.

IMHO... you need a light weight 15" drag wheel with taller tire. It's foot print, not so much width that improves traction. I'd leave the rear springs and put something softer in the front. Some QA1's or Strange struts & shocks would help too.

I have 16" already. If 15" really make a difference I will get some. I run a 26" tire. You saying a 28" would be better? My gearing would also be higher.
I'll check out the QA1's
Got all the BMR stuff including the Relocation Brackets and a adj Torque Arm.

Ed, I am sure that if you go up to a real track, one that they actually prep, and its not a parking lot, it would do a hell of a lot better....just IMO

I don't think they prep at all. They did lay a concrete launch pad, but with no prepping whats the point?

oh there is no point, it seems like they do not care about the track or the people that pay money to race
