I would try to find a 400 small block and spray it. I'd spend the larger some of ur money on the heads. U will also need a nice rear. I got a complete 9in at quick performance for 1500 nd it bolts right in

Okay, how about I step back into reality for a few moments. I don't have 100k to drop into this project just to get it running; so, what is realistic? Should i be shooting for high 9's in the 1/4?

ok let start with what you have. so what do you have now and what do you have done to the car as of now? like rear end, trans, and that kind of stuff. also what is the top of the price range are you going with this?
