Ill check them out then. But for the price that i get them at,and have never had a problem with them hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Are those tires you are talking about DR's?

Yes they are, they just hook alot better than the nittos. But the nittos are good for a nice street car.

I have grown fond of Fuzion ZR1's. They work great, in all weather and even do decently on the track... Great wear pattern also.

I agree with you.....I have Fuzions on my WS6 and they are pretty good on the street, but I use Hoosier QTPs at the track.

I like my MT drag radials for street and strip. Get low 1.5's at track and GTech low 1.7's on street. I don't drive car much (fair weather ride) and have had on car almost 2 years, 3 trips to track and have about 1500 miles on them. Still look pretty good!

I run the Hoosier QTP's for strip. No traction problems. At all.

They don't appear to grab the street any better than the Nitto DR's do when they are aired up. Neither did the MT radials. Of course, aired down and warmed up is a completely different story.

But as said earlier... there is no "best" tire. It depends on what you want out of your tires. I want traction and don't care about longevity. I might have to replace these every year.
As I've learned to launch my car throughout the summer, I've gotten the 60' down to 1.60 and the BFG D/R's are still hooking like champs.

I run my MT around on 20 psi. just like I run them. I just feel like if I air them up they might wear the middles. I feel like they're doing pretty good like they are. Just what I do!
