Damn, I guess it depends where you live huh? I mean look at 99bonemaro, He's got a catback and he's 60 foot is not THAT bad and ran a 9.1. I wonder how much I can cut off my time with 3.73s since I already have 3.23's.humm.

I just installed a slp lid and free ram air mod. Hopefully I'll get in the 8's.
I also have a grenatelli MAF, I wonder if its helping me or actually hurting my ET's.

Hey Camarojunky74, How are you launching and what's your 60ft. times
Also do you have drag radials although I am quite sure to be able to launch with 4.10's.lol Are those all your mods or have any more?

i ran the car on my 295 toyo t1r's, and my 60 foot was almost a 1.8 it was like 1.901 or something so close, and yeah that is it for mods on that car, and all honestly i feel i could have done better with 3.73's rather than 4.10's they are just too much for an a4 car also my rims are 18's so some 16" inchers and slicks i may have been able to hit a 7 .999 lol, well see im still not done testing and tuning, the track i run at is irwindale ca, most of the time its a little chilly and we run till about 10pm, great track , best times my car will probably ever see with those mods,

That's pretty dang awesome, Camarojunky74. I think I'm gonna go with 3.73's and getting some nitto drag radials. Those are probably the best mods I can do to my car at this moment to improve my times. How are you launching?

well first off let me start off by saying i ran with my toyos and hit almost a 1.8, i borrowed my buddys 315 nitto drag radials and couldnt even hit a high 1.9, i was very dissapointed by those tires, for the street the nittos are great but for the track they have a bad rap for not hooking,

i am launching by stalling up as hight as the stock converter will allow i think its somewhere around 2k, maybe closer to 1600, i cant really remember, without looking at the tach, yeah i just stall up and go,

kinda funny the time i ran a 8.2 i blew the doors off of a lambo murcilago or something like that the guy thought it was cool, kinda weird i was expecting some dirty llooks, i also took out a new m5 and a new m6 same night, it was a good day lol,

but if i was you i would go with the mt's they wear fast so if you plan on having street and strip radials go with bfg or last nitto if you have another set of strip rims go with mt's hands down, i seen 1.6 60 foots pulled with those on street cars,

    happy mustang hunting

thats the same problem im dealing with i want good street tires to got to track and stuff since i dont traler it. but track is almost 80 miles away and after a couple track runs/ burn outs , trip there/back. there finished by 3 months for the M/ts

but all an dall your car dont mean nothing with out good rubber/ its just how much your budget it and how much you want to sacrafice

yeah i just look at it this way, it dont mean shit if your car has so much hp or can handle so good its the tires that connects the car to the ground,

throw some geo metro wheels and tires on a corvette and take that thing to the track and tell me tires aint the most important performance mod you can make

What do you mean E-BAY? Do you buy performance parts on ebay?
Or do you sell on ebay?

That's not a bad price. As far as gains... I will tell you a short story !!! I had my stock heads ported to the max, got a holley wein intake, 80mm BBK TB, high flow MAP, whisper lid, comp cam, ect... ( all from ebay )
I was running 12.6's consistantly !!! Then I installed the long tube headers w/ Y pipe, and instantly went to 11.5's !!! Had all the flow going into the motor, but not getting out !!! Added the 150 dry shot, got me into the 10.7's !!!
I do have a lot more mods to drive trane too for those numbers...
