7.0's 1/8 mile...what do I need to get there?
To start off, this will be a hybrid car. A Buick Regal. The weight with driver should be 3400#. Wanting to build something to run a 7.0 index class they have @ local tracks in my area. I'm pretty new to LSX engines and have no clue where to start. Don't know which to buy or mods when I do get it.
Any help would be appreciated.

to get 7.0's in the 1/8th, I think you'll need right around 500 to the tire @ 3400 lbs to get it.
many guys run way quicker than that with '86-'87 turbo Regals/Grand Nationals

Yes, I've ran turbo Buicks for years, although at least for me a turbo car is very hard to bracket race. That's the reason I'm thinking LS for this particular car

Please double check me, but there are a lot of guys that have H/C/I, but are about 450 rwhp. That might be enough to get 7.0's with some weight reduction and a good suspension set up.

A high stall convertor & gears would help a lot too.
