1st time at track
good cool weather and near bald tires spinning on launch and 1st-2nd shift. best time was 14.2 but i wanted to get my rpms to 2k before launch and was lightly feathering it and they set off the lights. launched at about 1600 rpms. the second go around was a 15 second pass but i just stopped the car in the staging and they pressed the button as soon as the lights flashed. too many people for me to wait for a third pass. oh well ill try again after i get some sub frames rear springs and rear shocks and see what i get then. it was fun though
2000 white z28, t-tops, free mods, intake, full exhaust, dyno tune, repro c5 z06 wheels, and some elbow grease here and there.

If you have an A4, then why are you trying to stall it up? my best times on both my factory stall and this one were from an idle. even with the 2.73 gears i managed a 1.993 from mashing the gas fro man idle. trying to stall it up does nothing more then create heat inside the tranny.

i was thinkin of doin one stalled a bit and the next one from idle but the staging on the second pass didn't give me a chance to get ready because when i looked at the light again it was green already. so i got a way late start on the second pass so i couldnt tell if the launch from an idle helped at all.

car dynoed 305 hp and 344 tq before the stall,ls6 manifold, and pulley. it is prolly at 315 if i dynoed it now. the gears and stall make the car a monster out of the whole. Every dyno is different though and i don't usually like to compare those numbers. the track is where you know what your car and you are doing right or wrong. A dyno is nothing more than a tuning tool.

yes i know but that tool does give you a good idea what your putting to the wheels, even if your not hooking well. i put down 350rwhp, but it's practically useless coming out of the whole because i just spin through 1st & 2nd. but i'm worried the 10 bolt won't hold up if i do get a tire that hooks well.
