    Talking 1/4 mile video.. My GTO VS mustang GT....

    1/4 from last friday.. it was the first of the evening for me.

    I had my window switch set a little too high. (through the shift)

    My poor tranny did NOT like it at all... lol if you pay attention, you can hear how long it takes to shift from 1st to 2nd... bummer

    yank 3200 stall,
    TNT F1 kit -150 shot-,
    mickey thompson ET streets,
    BMR Drag Bags,
    Volant CAI,
    Stock exhaust manifolds, stock cats, stock resonator.. straight pipes in place of the mufflers.

    I've added a cam and upgraded the valvetrain since then....

    time for a built tranny too!

    I enjoy the stall more on the street than on the strip.... yes it made a nice difference. its fun to drive.

    the ET streets made a HUGE difference on the track. The nitto drag radials I was using just couldnt contain the hp/tq when the N2O hit..

    the ETs just stuck.

    Chopped video? Stang broke something? GT only gave it half throttle? Mustang can never lose!

    ha j/k good run, btw how much power can the ls2 take on the stock block?

    i've personally seen stock LS2 with 608rwhp on a 89 octane tune.... 10.9 compression.

    His plans are to get 6.0l heads to lower the compression and up the boost and use higher octane...

    close to 700rwhp is possible, but it'll be on bought time if ya know what I mean. One bad tank of gas, a hiccup/spike in the boost controller... and other things could finish it off pretty easily.
