ZO6 Wheels on F-Body
Hi, I have a 98 SS and would like to put a set of 18" C6 ZO6 wheels on. I found a set with 275/35-ZR18's for a nice price. They are 56mm offset. Will they work with no modifications?

they'll fit no problem, but I'd put a 1/4" spacer so it's roughly @ stock location compared to 17x9 stock wheels.

almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

Would a 1/4" spacer require longer studs?

I would recommend getting better studs than stock, anyway.
You can get same length ARP studs but that are threaded all the way and are better/stronger studs than stock.

not to hijack the thread, but do you know how much work it is to change out the studs on our cars? I was thinking of upgrading to ARP's.

Don't worry about hijacking my thread. I was wondering about that too. But really, how important is it to have ARP studs? I would think that even on the drive wheels that stock would be all that is necessary.
