Would Like Opinions On This Wheel
I am considereing replacing the 17" painted 10-spokes that are on my silver 2000 SS convert, 6-speed w/2" drop. I have been giving this some thought for a while, but have yet to decide because of all of the choices.
One wheel that I keep coming back to is the Model 68 by Hot Wheels which is sold through Discount Tire. A link to a picture of this wheel is attached. I like the "old school but somewhat modern" look of this wheel. What do you think? I would appreciate honest opinions on this wheel.
As for sizes, I want to go 18x10 in the rear (the widest available) with something less wide but still 18" in the front. Have no idea about offsets. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/whe...SINT&tc=HOTSIX

Thanks for looking and for your thoughts on the offset. I spoke to the salesman today and was told the offset on the wheel is 45mm, and it's his belief I can not special order anything else. Do you think 10mm is that big of a deal? I know I do not want the "deep dish" appearance a zero offset would give. At this point, I think I'll go ahead and order the wheels and see how they look. Considering 285 or 295/35/18 in back and 245/40/18 in front. This ought to look nice, especially since, for whatever reason, I have 255/40/17 all the way around.
On another note, do you happen to know the width of the stock 10-spoke wheel? Thanks again.

They're priced very reasonable at a little over 200 for chrome wheels too!
Make sure you post pics when you get 'em on there!

I would go with those in chrome if they have them. That would look good IMO.
