worried about the rims i just got.. will they fit?
here is a link to them... 12" wide in back.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=290259703559
also i just realized that the tires for them will be 1 1/2 times more than the actual rims LOL anyways the tires that go on these are a 325 series... i have heard that for a 300 series to fit you have to do some bending, im not opposed to that im just worried that i wont be able to get them to fit... any suggestions?

315's fit okay but that's about as big as you can go with out doing a little modifying to the fenders or inner wheel wells. You'll most likely need to get your fenders rolled.

that's going to be a tight fit.... and I'm pretty sure you'll need a pretty big wheel spacer for those. At least 1.25". I have 1" spacers for my C6 wheels and my wheels rub on the inside when I go through turns fast. And my back tires are only 285's.

here's where I got mine. I got some H&R's because I plan on going fast and want my car as safe as possible. They're made for the autobahn, so that works for me.
http://www.livermoreperformance.com/...acers.html#H&R
and by rolling the fenders he means rolling over the extra metal that is in the wheelwell so that you have more room for the wheels to go out.

Thats one large wheel you got there. Good luck, I dont know if Ive ever even seen a picture of a TA/fbody with a 325 on it before.
Sure its been done, but I think you have some work ahead of you! Good luck.

Mini tubs shouldn't cost you more than a couple thousand to fit the rims you bought on impulse

that's alright man. we've all got our vices and yours is to impulse buy. there's a link on here of a guy that's running "lambo wheels"
that are 325's or 335's (unsure to which) and yes, he did have to do some mod's but it can be done. to answer your questions. if you're looking at the outside of your car just above your rear wheels... the sheet metal will roll in towards the center of your car above your fenders. in order to keep your new "fat" tires from "scraping" against that rolled part... you'll need to have it rolled more to lessen the area of sheet metal that may interfere with the travel distance of you new "wider" tires in the fender well. it sounds like more trouble than it is. and as far as spacers go... every wheel has either a positive offset or a positive backspacing. if you have a positive backspacing, that means that the center of your wheel will be closer to the interior of the car than the exterior. spacers put the wheel further out on the fender. to sum everything up... as long as you're not running a ultra high/negative offset... you'll be okay with some slight mod's. do the hammer mod and the "grinding of the bumpstop mod" and you can get it to work and i'm sure it'll look great. do a search for lambo wheels and you'll be good to go. good luck !!!Last edited by architect7; 10-03-2008 at 03:06 PM.
